(aka the WITCHES NEW YEAR! 🧙🏼)
On October 31st, the Wheel turns again toward the dark half of the year
Samhain marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter in the traditional Celtic seasonal calendar. It has long been associated with fire, feasting, remembrance, divination, costumes, and the mysterious threshold between the worlds of the living and the dead.
This year, Rhythm of the Wheel invites you to celebrate Samhain with us at Heartgrounds in Bend for our 3rd annual Samhain Gathering! Juicy details below:
🌑 4–7 PM | SAMHAIN WOMEN’S CIRCLE
Our intimate gathering will include:
💀 Samhain Women’s Circle with Celtic-inspired cauldron drumming to open our circle and mark the turning of the Wheel
🔥 Sharing, singing, folklore & a discussion around the historical origin and significance of Samhain
🔴 A Rowan berry folk craft inspired by the long-standing folklore surrounding rowan as a protective tree
🍎 A traditional silent Dumb Supper Seasonal Harvest Feast to honor our ancestors, accompanied by a gentle & reverent sound bowl journey curated by Angelica ✨
Then at 7 PM, the doors open…
🧙♀️ 7–9 PM | SAMHAIN COSTUME PARTY!
The gathering becomes FREE & OPEN TO ALL for two hours of witchy revelry. Costumes highly encouraged! Come dressed as your witchiest self….
Wise woman. Woodland witch. Victorian specter. Green witch. Celtic fae. Druid priestess. Village crone. Glamorous sorceress. Whatever feels right for you! 🧙🏻
Come for the circle 🪄 Stay for the frolic 🪩
