Ostara & the Spring Vernal Equinox

Join us for a seasonal women’s circle to honor Ostara and the Spring Vernal Equinox — the sacred moment of balance when light and dark stand equal, and the Wheel of the year turns again toward growth, renewal, and becoming.

This threshold in the solar year has long been honored across earth-based traditions as a time of awakening: seeds stirring beneath the soil, sap rising, birds returning, and the subtle remembering of our own inner spring. The equinox invites us into gentle emergence, to bless what is beginning, to name what we are tending, and to bring conscious intention to what we are growing in our lives.

Astrologically, this equinox marks the Sun’s entry into Aries, the first sign of the zodiac and the spark of the astrological new year. Aries carries the fire of initiation, courage, and life-force itself — the moment when potential becomes movement. This is a potent portal for planting intentions, reclaiming momentum, and aligning with the creative fire that wants to move through us this season.

We gather during these sacred times to celebrate in community and hold reverence for the ancient wisdom held in the Rhythm of the Wheel.

✨ For this gathering you can look forward to:

  • A guided Ostara women’s circle + seasonal reflection

  • Mythological + astrological context for the equinox portal

  • Gentle ritual to bless what we are growing this spring

  • Folk crafting with intention woven with our hands and hearts

  • Chef prepared seasonal nourishment shared in community

  • Simple group singing woven throughout the gathering

  • An Ostara divination table for you to visit quietly (come early or stay late for this)

About the food….we will be blessed once again with a delicious, seasonal feast prepared by chef Sam of Soma Wellness Services. Sam’s creative fare is full of nourishment, color, and flavor and you will relish every bite, we always do! Our Rhythm of the Wheel meals are always as locally sourced & organic as possible, and gluten-free with dairy-free options. Please email us if you need further dietary accommodation.

This gathering is hosted at Courtney’s home, Aphelion Farm, in Tumalo, Oregon. You will receive an email with the address and any further directions you may need to know a few days before the gathering. Please keep an eye out for this important email.

Come as you are. Leave a little more rooted in yourself, and a little more in rhythm with the turning of the Wheel. Space is limited. Registration required. Registration fee is non-refundable but may be transferable with approval through email. Please direct any questions to rhythmofthewheel@gmail.com.

Lastly, there are only 13 spots available for this gathering, much less than we normally offer. The intention is to keep this gathering small and intimate so please register swiftly if you’d like to join us!

Spring Blessings to you & yours!
