Imbolc falls midway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, when the days begin to noticeably lengthen and the sun slowly regains its strength. Though the land may still appear dormant, life is stirring beneath the surface. Astrologically, this time often aligns with Aquarius season, inviting fresh perspective, vision, and the spark of new ideas beginning to take shape.
Traditionally, this was a time to light candles, tend hearth fires, and bless homes and thresholds. Brigid was believed to walk the land, offering protection and inspiration as winter loosened its hold. Imbolc invites us to tend our own inner flame — to listen for what is ready to be born, and to gently nurture creativity, healing, and hope as we step toward spring.
During our Imbolc gathering, we will:
Sit in a Imbolc sacred women's circle to share, sing, reflect, and renew
Enjoy seasonal, Imbolc-inspired appetizers & herbal tea in community
Create an adorable needle felted Imbolc lamb using local wool fiber
This gathering is designed to be welcoming, grounded, and accessible — no prior experience with seasonal celebrations is required. Come as you are, and bring your curiosity, presence, and heart.
No prior crafting experience is necessary. All materials will be provided. You will receive a beginners needle felting kit that includes a felting pad and needles that will be yours to take home with you for future projects.
Appetizers will be gluten-free and there will be dairy-free options as well. Herbal tea will be seasonal, organic, and caffeine-free.
Space is limited to keep the gathering intimate. Advance registration is required.
We look forward to welcoming you into our circle as we celebrate Imbolc together!
For Imbolc, we’ll create a small wool lamb — a gentle symbol of new life, care, and the quiet beginnings of spring.
